Adult ingredient - Kesari pappu
Diseases (or) damages caused - Paralysis
Method of detecting adulteration - little amount of redgram is taken in a test
tube and 50 ml. L. of aqueous hydrochloric acid is added and mixed for 10 min.
If the test tube shows a yellowish color, it indicates that the saffron is
adulterated.
